Research or clinical practice? Why not both?
Yan Bin is a graduated medical student from Malaysia. After pursuing his MD, he chose a less popular pathway by enrolling in a research master’s programm the Master of Medical Science. Currently, he is a full-time researcher doing both clinical research and laboratory-based research. However, with a deep interest in surgery and surgical education, he has not given up the clinical pathway and continues to pursue his goal of becoming a surgeon.
