Dr. Kacylia Roy Proulx is a graduate doctor of McGill University, a first-year General Surgery resident at Université Laval, and a global surgery advocate. Her research interests include pediatric surgery, Indigenous health, trauma surgery, and gender equity in surgical care. She currently serves as Education Lead for the Gender Equity Initiative in Global Surgery and is actively involved in international research, education, advocacy, and mentorship initiatives supporting the next generation of surgeon-scientists.
