TENDON-TACTICS
Mastering Core Tendon Repairs with Straw Models is a 3-hour online surgical skills workshop (Part 2 of the workshop series “Home Lab Surgery”) designed to introduce participants to fundamental tendon repair techniques using low-fidelity straw models.
The session combines short theory, live demonstration, and structured hands-on practice of the Modified Kessler and Krakow suturing techniques, followed by case discussion and feedback.
The workshop is scheduled for 13 June 2026 conducted free of charge.
Core Learning Focus Participants will:
- Understand biomechanical principles of tendon repair learn Modified Kessler and Krakow techniques,
- Practice core suturing skills on straw models and
- Improve hand–eye coordination and knot security
