To all students who have an interest, fascination and passion for surgery and beyond:
We are extremely lucky to be hosting the IASSS (International Association of Student Surgical Societies) & SASSS (South African Student Surgical Societies) Symposium 2018 in Cape Town this year.
The symposium is co-hosted by surgical societies from UCT and Stellenbosch University.
IASSS & SASSS 2018 is a week filled with workshops, competitions, talks / lectures from world-renowned surgeons and social events.
These activities will expose you to various fields and aspects of surgery; whilst you interact with international doctors and students from various countries and universities.
This year the theme is “Future of Surgery” as we look into what surgery holds in a new era of technology.
It would be a highly-valued opportunity for many students to dive into a week of surgery-filled, experience-packed and rich in skills and knowledge.
