Times are changing as do our ways of tackling worldly problems. We experience bigger
groups of people engaging in international organisations; leading, learning and advocating. In
the pursuit of equality, we are running out of time for our worldly consumables;
time, money and energy.
As the world hit a stagnation, we the medical students/young doctors of IASSS must hit harder as one of the associations that to influence the surgical community. The pandemic audaciously exposed our vulnerabilities and imperfections and told us a very important story about time.
My hope is to receive more opportunities for participation in surgical research and conferences and to have a strong base of networking and support systems within the team – who by the end of the term will be a group of friends and maybe even family.
