Conference (Pink October): Awareness On Breast Cancer
The conference was organized under the theme: let’s raise awareness among those around us about cancer screening, particularly breast cancer screening.

3rd Congress of Medical Students
The 3rd medical student congress was organized by 4 associations (HAUSSS, CVS, Incision Burundi and ABEM) under the theme: “management of the most frequent medical and surgical emergencies in the East Africa community region”. The congress lasted 2 days (from morning to evening) in King’s Conference Hotel, Bujumbura.

Workshop On Global Surgery Research
This workshop was organized by HAUSSS in partnership with Incision Burundi. The workshop took place in the United Nations Information Center (downtown Bujumbura). There were 2 main speakers: Dr Jacques Ndikubagenzi, public health doctor and Dr Kabura Sylvestre, the surgeon.

Training on Basic Knowledge for Cesarean Section and Newborn Resuscitation
This training was given by an Anesthesiologist (Dr Gilles Eloi Rwibuka) and a Gynecologist (Dr Innocente Irakoze) under the theme: having practical medico-surgical knowledge, the necessity for every future health worker.

Voice of Hope Radio Broadcast on the Occasion of the Cerebration Of World Diabetes Day
The objective was to raise awareness among the Burundian population to get tested and to let them know how we can prevent diabetes. According to the campaign that HAUSSS carried out in 2021, we found a high number of people with high blood sugar without knowing it. The show was directed by a Diabetologist, Dr Raissa Kaneza and the President of HAUSSS, Nininahazwe Guy Steve.
